Working for the Entire Mad River Watershed

A watershed is the area of land which collects all surface water to its river channels. Watershed boundaries follow natural topographic, not political, boundaries. The Friends represent members from the entire Mad River watershed, including the towns of Moretown, Duxbury, Fayston, Waitsfield and Warren, and work with local governments and interested parties from within and outside the watershed.

The Friends' success relies on the commitment and energy of our membership. Translated, this means we need contributions of volunteer help, concern and action for a healthier river, and financial support. Please get involved by becoming a Friend and supporting a clean and healthy Mad River.
